The Road
A Growing Network Of Van Life Communities
Community campgrounds owned and operated by nomads, not just built for them. Everyone parks around a shared center instead of tucking into a private spot, because that's the difference between a place you stay and a place you belong. Pull in for a night or a season.

WHY WE’RE BUILDING THIS
The Road Was The Reaction, Not The Solution.
The deal we were handed was work now, live later. Trade your best decades for a paycheck and collect freedom at the end, if you make it that long. Most people take it. We didn't, and that's why we're out here. But hitting the road was the reaction. It was never a long term solution.
Out here it's easy to make the opposite mistake: live all the way now, and let the future take care of itself. It's an overcorrection, and it's why this lifestyle keeps ending up a phase. A year or three. The constant moving gets heavy. The savings get thin. Your experiences are peak but you're lonely in a way that's hard to explain. Everyone you know is settling down and you're not. It's a slow grind, and eventually it wins. People don't leave the road because they stopped loving it. They leave because it wore them out.
That's the whole reason we're building this. Not to escape the system or burn it down, but to build a new path that's missing for us: ground you own, a living you earn, and people who are still there next season. A life you can keep moving forward inside of, instead of one you eventually have to recover from.
You build while you live, so you never have to stop.
HOW IT ACTUALLY WORKS
The Four Pieces Of A Life That Lasts.
There's something here no matter where you are in your van lifetime, each piece an answer to one of the things that's worn us down.
CAMP
So It Stops Being Lonely
The network itself. Community campgrounds you move between, where the same faces keep turning up and the people start repeating. Belong somewhere without settling down.
OWN
So You Can Plant Roots
Own a plot inside a VLC. Real, permanent ground with your name on it, that you can build on, store your gear on, and drive away from whenever you want.
HOST
So The Savings Stop Thinning
Become a camphost and earn by running the community at VLC locations, instead of leaving it to go make money somewhere else.
PARTNER
So You Can Share With Others
Already have land? Bring it into the network and let us run the community layer, so the place you built sets you free instead of chaining you to it.
WHY I BELIEVE IT
Ten Years In, And I'm Still Out Here.
“Most people get a year or three. I've had ten, and I'm not recovering from it. Not because I got rich, you don't get rich from nomads. Because every year on the road I built something instead of letting it cost me something: ground with my name on it, an income that travels, and real lasting friendships. I gave up some earning potential, sure, but I gave up far more cost. The math never forced me back.
That's why I'm building this, and honestly it's the only reason I think I'm qualified to. I'm not selling you a life I read about somewhere. I'm building the thing I wished existed ten years ago, so that nobody has to give up the freedom that got them into this lifestyle in the first place (myself included).
So here's to 10 more great years. To VLC and beyond motha fuckas!”

Know Where We Land Next.
Right now the network is two, on opposite seasons, so there's always one open. It also means most of you can't reach us yet. That's changing.
Get on the list and you'll hear the moment a location lands on your route, or an event/opportunity pops up near you, plus get the stories from camp, and have a real say in where this goes. We're small enough that what you tell us actually changes what we build. That part you only get by being early.
