Meet James, your ranch hand camphost that puts conservation first.
James & his wife Mary have been revitalizing this land since 2004, where they’ve built a small campground and farm that rotationally grazes & raises cattle, sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and a turkey. A lot of their work goes to conservation and sustainability, from revitalizing their river, wildlife areas and even their farm which received a conservation award from their counties soil & water division.
Pet Policy: Pets are allowed off-leash in designated dog run area but required on leash at camp at all times.
Arriving: 2WD vehicles can easily access the VLC area. Check-in starts at 2pm and checkout by noon.
